Nominations for this year’s AACTAs – as voted by the public – have finally been announced.
For the second time in the history of the Australian Academy of Cinema Television Arts awards, the audience was able to decide the five nominees ahead of the ceremony, which takes place in Sydney on December 8.
The 2021 AACTAs, presented by Foxtel, opened voting to the public in October with dozens of choices across seven categories, with the publicly voted awards adding to the peer-voted prizes to be announced on the night.
