TAKING a leaf out of Madonna’s shock book, Golden Globes nominee Sarah Paulson locked lips with her gal pal Amanda Peet at the first awards night of the new year.
The same sex kiss sent gossips into overdrive — as stars arrived for the annual Hollywood Foreign Press Association prize night — but all was not as it seemed: with Peet happily married to Game Of Thrones boss David Benioff; and Paulson dating actress Holland Taylor.
Turning their heads with their fashion statements, Jackie star Natalie Portman and Shane Warne’s crush Emily Ratajkowski crushing the latest colour trend, yellow; while Drew Barrymore and Lily Collins have added frills and thrills with romantic gowns.
Lion nominee Nicole Kidman accessorised her theatrical McQueen gown with country star husband Keith Urban; getting some hot competition in the sexy celebrity couple stakes from Chris Hemsworth and wife Elsa Pataky, as well as Justin Timberlake and his Elie Saab-wearing wife Jessica Biel.
Kidman was in a playful mood, interrupting The Night Manager’s Thomas Hiddleston mid-interview, saying: “I’m so happy to be here and just determined to have fun.”

Nicole Kidman, who is up for her 10th Golden Globe nomination for the Australian-produced drama Lion, looked every inch the goddess on the red carpet wearing McQueen. She was supported by her husband Keith Urban.
ZOE SALDANA AND MARCO PEREGO
Husband and wife Zoe Saldana and Marco Perego rocked the red carpet together looking fabulous as always. Saldana stood out in a pale-pink-and-scarlet-red silk chiffon Gucci gown with asymmetrical tiered ruffled skirt and blush satin bow, paired with Bulgari jewellery.
SOFIA VERGARA GLITTERS IN GOLD
Actress Sofia Vergara walked the Golden Globes red carpet solo but looked stunning as usual. The Modern Family star had hair slicked back wearing a Zuhair Murad dress and Lorraine Schwartz jewellery.
DREW BARRYMORE ADDS SOME SMOKY EYE HEAT
Hollywood royalty, Drew Barrymore turned the heat up in the hair and make-up department with a sensational smoky eye and teased 70s hair look by her style team including Debra Fuller (make up) and John D. She described her Monique Lhuillier gown as Marilyn Monroe-inspired.

Manchester By The Sea star Michelle Williams looked effortlessly chic in white lace Louis Vuitton, with a sweet velvet ribbon choker and her peroxide pixie cut slicked back. She accessorised with bestie Busy Phillips.

The Trolls stars took to the red carpet as husband and wife and co-stars, with Jessica Biel upping her fashion game in a dramatic Elie Saab sequinned and velvet gown.
NATALIE PORTMAN BRINGS JACKIE O STYLE TO GLOBES
She’s been nominated for her first-class performance of former First Lady, Jacqueline Bouvier Kennedy Onassis, now Jackie star Natalie Portman has brought the style icon’s fashion sense to the Globes red carpet in a citron gown, which flattered her pregnant form. Portman is expecting her second child with dancer husband Benjamin Millepied.
TERESA PALMER STUNNING IN FIRST POST-PREGNANCY GLAM GOWN
Hacksaw Ridge star Teresa Palmer, in one of her first post-pregnancy appearances since giving birth to second son Forest Sage late last year, looked serene in a draped velvet gown. She also has a two-year-old son, Bodhi Rain.
LILY COLLINS BLOOMS ON GOLDEN GLOBES RED CARPET
Lily Collins, daughter of musician Phil Collins, was thrilled to make her return to the Globes, after first attending with her famous dad. The star of Rules Don’t Apply told E! she was just excited “Meryl Streep knows my name now. Drop mic, I’m done.”

Shane Warne’s latest Insta obsession was turning heads in a slinky yellow silk gown and rocking a new cropped bob hair cut. The London-born actress and model cut a sleek form walking the Globes red carpet.
THANDIE NEWTON LOOKS DIPPED IN GOLD
Westworld’s Thandie Newton looked like she’d dipped her glamorous gown in gold, with its stunning sequinned effect. With lots of romantic fashion on the red carpet, Chris Hemsworth proved hew as on trend - boasting about his “hot date,” wife Elsa Pataky. The couple rolled the Globes in style, but Pataky told her Instagram followers they were running late.
