The fires have also taken the home of Silence of the Lambs star Anthony Hopkins. He purchased the colonial four-bedroom $9.6 million home in the Pacific Palisades area back in 2021.
Mandy Moore
Singer Mandy Moore also posted to Instagram saying she has also likely lost her home after fires “levelled” homes across Altadena.
“I’m absolutely numb,” she said.
“My sweet home. I am devastated and gutted for those who’ve lost so much.”
Eugene Levy
Schitt’s Creek star Eugene Levy also joined the list of those who have lost their homes on Wednesday local time.
Speaking to the LA Times on Tuesday, Levy described the fire’s smoke as “pretty black and intense” before he was evacuated.
“I couldn’t see any flames, but the smoke was very dark.”

John Goodman
Beloved actor John Goodman’s home was left completely destroyed after the fire ripped through his land.
The Pacific Palisades property was right in the path of the blaze, which has already scorched more than 15,000 acres and was travelling as far as five football fields a minute.

James Woods
US actor James Woods captured some terrifying footage of the wildfire that is ripping through Pacific Palisades area of Los Angeles wreaking havoc.
“We were blessed to have LA fire and police depts doing their jobs so well,” Woods wrote. “We are safe and out. There are several elementary schools in our neighbourhood and there was an enormous community effort to evacuate the children safely.”
He also spoke of the “chaos” of evacuating his home, saying he helped an elderly neighbour with dementia leave their property. “It was like an inferno. Every house was on fire around us.”
Numerous other stars have also been evacuated, but so far their homes are though to be safe.
They include A-list actors such as Chris Pratt, Reese Witherspoon and Ben Affleck.

Some celebrities are even jumping in to the fighting effort with Ashton Kutcher spotted at a friend’s home with a hose attempting to extinguish flames on Wednesday local time.
As four different wildfires are ravaging across the Los Angeles area with about 100,000 people now under evacuation orders.
At least 28,000 structures are believed to be threatened by the fires, with now five people confirmed dead. More than 1000 structures have already been destroyed.
The biggest inferno, known with the Palisades fire, rapidly spread to 500 acres — fanned by gusty winds and dry conditions — in the Santa Monica Mountains.
The blaze is expected to intensify as a major wind storm with gusts up to 160km/h fans the flames.
Fire chief’s plea
Los Angeles Department of Water and Power chief executive Janisse Quinones pleaded with people to save water, after hydrants in Pacific Palisades ran dry overnight.
She said three million-gallon tanks used to supply the neighbourhood’s more than 20,000 residents were exhausted by 3am on Wednesday.
“I need our customers to really conserve water … because the fire department needs the water to fight the fires,” Ms Quinones said.
“We’re fighting a wildfire with urban water systems, and that is really challenging.”
