Australia’s hottest touring show of the summer will hit the stage in Brisbane on Friday night, bringing in some of the decades best artists from around the globe as well as some homegrown talent.

Australia’s hottest touring show of the summer will hit the stage in Brisbane on Friday night, bringing together some of the decades best artists from around the globe as well as some homegrown talent.
RNB Fridayz Live is set to deliver an unforgettable night of dance floor anthems and the icons behind them.
Held at Brisbane’s RNA Showgrounds, tickets have been selling fast with promoters MG Live, Frontier Touring, Illusive Presents and Hit Network forecasting a night to remember for lovers of 90s, 00s and current music.
Fridayz has already performed to crowds in Melbourne, Perth, Adelaide and Auckland with Brisbane its fifth show of the season. The crew will then hit Sydney on Sunday at Giants Stadium which is expected to be a sellout.
ARTIST SCHEDULE
Doors are set to open at 4pm before the first set of the night, American rapper singer songwriter Travie McCoy who will hit the stage at 4.30pm.
Next up is noughties icon JoJo at 5pm. The chart-topper, award-winning singer, songwriter and actress will make her Fridayz debut. She rose to fame at just 13 years old with her 2004 debut self-entitled album.
American R & B group 112 will then play at 5.30pm before global superstar and former Destiny’s Child member Kelly Rowland graces the stage at 6pm for an hour-long set.
At 7pm Boyz II Men will perform their much-loved emotional ballads and a cappella harmonies to an adoring fan base.
Flo Rida will then take the crowds “Low” at 8pm before Aussie DJ Havana Brown warms up the crowd at 8.15pm for the main act of the night.
At 9.15 global hit maker and all-round superstar Jason Derulo, who boasts 20 multi-platinum singles and 250 million copies, takes to the stage.
The show is expected to rap up a little after 11pm in what is set to be a night of sore feet and heads.
PREDICTED SET LIST:
The blonde bombshell JoJo who takes to the stage at 5pm is expected to play her biggest hits ‘Say Love’, ‘Too Little, Too Late’, and the iconic ‘Leave (Get Out)’.
Up next, Destiny’s Child’s Kelly Rowland, who wowed crowds in other capital cities will play ‘Dilemma’ and ‘When Love Takes Over’ as well as her group’s songs ‘Say My Name’, ‘Independent Women’, ‘Bootylicious’, and ‘Jumpin’, Jumpin’’.
Boyz II Men’s Nathan Morris, Shawn Stockman and Wanya Morris will entertain the crowd with ‘Down on Bended Knee’, ‘I’ll Make Love To You’ and ‘One Sweet Day’.
Chart topper Jason Derulo is expected to bring a high energy performance with his songs ‘In My Head,’ ‘Trumpets’ and ‘Want To Want Me’.
HOW TO GET THERE:
Brisbane’s RNA Showgrounds, just 1.5km from the city’s CBD is easily accessible by train, bus, taxi or Uber services. Both the Bowen Hills and Fortitude Valley train stations are a 10-minute. Buses access all surrounding streets including Bowen Bridge Rd, O’Connell Terrace, Brookes St and St Paul’s Terrace.
Parking at and around the showgrounds is also available if public transport is inaccessible.
The main parking locations at the grounds include the Royal International Convention Centre, The Pavilion and King St Parking. Rates can vary depending on time of day and duration but usually cost no more than $35 for four hours.
