Revealed: Bundaberg's top performing primary and secondary schools for 2025 named
The top spots for primary and secondary performance in the Bundaberg region for 2025 NAPLAN can be revealed.
St Luke’s Anglican School is Bundaberg’s top performing NAPLAN school in 2025 at both primary and secondary levels.
An independent analysis of newly-released 2025 NAPLAN results have revealed the schools that performed the best in the Year 5 and Year 9 tests.
St Luke’s Anglican School, in Kalkie, had the best school results than only other primary school in Bundaberg, scoring an average of 505.6.
St Patrick’s Catholic Primary school was the second best in the region for Year 5, with an average score of 493.2, Bullyard State School received a commendable average of 488, but did not report data for spelling, grammar, or numeracy tests and Kolan South State School came just behind with an average score of 486.4.
The second best performing school in the Year 9 tests was Shalom College, scoring an average of 563.8, while Bundaberg Christian College was the third best with an average score of 556.2.
To determine how each school performed, the average score for all five test subjects taken by students in Year 5 and Year 9 were combined and an average was found.
Special schools, schools with fewer than 20 students enrolled, and schools that did not report any results were excluded from the analysis.
The figures were independently compiled from the Federal Government’s MySchool website.
