Premier announces pop-up vaccination clinics for two dozen Bunnings stores

Queenslanders will be able to get the jab at Bunnings from this Saturday.
Premier Annastacia Palaszczuk said more than two dozen sites had been identified for the pop-up vaccination clinics, with Queenslanders now able to get their Bunnings sausage and a dose of the vaccine.
It comes as no new locally acquired cases were recorded overnight, with 52.7 per cent of Queenslanders now fully vaccinated.
It is the seventh consecutive day of no community transmission.
While more than 8700 tests were undertaken in the past 24 hours, 16,628 vaccines were administered.
About 70.2 per cent of Queenslanders have now received their first dose.
Clinics will be established at; Browns Plains, Morayfield, Brendale, Bethania, Mt Gravatt, Stafford, North Lakes, Maryborough, Bundaberg, Hervey Bay, Dalby, Smithfield in Cairns, Fairfield Waters in Townsville, Townsville, Townsville North, Mackay North, Paget in Mackay, Airlie Beach, Kingaroy, Gladstone, Rockhampton, Yeppoon and Gympie.
Health Minister Yvette D’Ath said already 376 Queenslanders have been approved to come home through the home quarantine trial.
The government has reached out to almost 4000 people for the trial which will accept 1000 people who meet all of the conditions, which includes being fully vaccinated.
Ms D’Ath stressed that anyone who breaches the conditions of the trial will be fined and put into hotel quarantine.
“We want Queenslanders to return home and we will work with them to get them home safely,” she said.
