Queensland high schools have opened their doors for vaccinations as part of the Super Pfizer Weekend.
Health Minister Yvette D’Ath said many of the new vaccination pop-ups would also feature fundraising sausage sizzles in a trial that could expand if successful.
“As we hoped, there’s a sausage sizzle going as well so pop down to your local high school, get a sausage sizzle, support the school and get vaccinated,” Ms D’Ath said.
Queenslanders will be able to receive a Pfizer vaccination at 18 schools from Mackay to the Gold Coast.
