Premier Annastacia Palaszczuk says she will not budge on easing Queensland’s border restrictions
Ms Berejiklian said she had been attempting to establish a “positive relationship” with Ms Palaszczuk.
“But it’s a bit difficult when decisions are made without them even telling us,” she told 2GB.
“Compare that to (Labor Victorian Premier) Daniel Andrews and the Prime Minister. The three of us have worked together.
“Let me be frank. She has made a decision and isn’t willing to talk about that decision and is refusing to budge.”
She said problems cropping up were now being dealt with at an official level.
“So what we do then is make sure that our health officials, all our people who deal with compassionate issues are talking to their officials to make sure we get exemptions for people who need them,” Ms Berejiklian said.
“It’s not for a want of trying.”
Premier Annastacia Palaszcuk said she had no problems with working with the NSW Premier or any other leader.
“I don’t have any issues working wiht any of my colleagues around the country,” she said.
“In fact we all have very good working relationships.”
