Queensland's chief health officer explains the lockdown

Brisbane’s busiest streets have been left mostly bare as the first full day of the region’s lockdown begins.

Queen Street Mall, which is usually full of bustling shoppers on a Saturday, has turned into a ghost town as only essential shopping is permitted.
