Covid Qld: New southeast Queensland exposure sites revealed

The latest exposure sites has been released as Queensland enters yet another snap lockdown following confirmation of six new locally acquired Covid-19 cases, with calls for anyone affected to get tested immediately.

Bus routes, supermarkets and chemists are among the new exposure sites linked to community acquired Covid cases announced on Saturday.

In the interests of public health and safety, this Covid-19 story has been left unlocked and available to all readers.

There were multiple new close contact exposure sites listed on the Queensland Health website this afternoon, as officials contact trace the latest cases.

Among the new sites was the Blunder Road Country Markets on July 25, between 8.30am and 9.10am, as well as the ALDI Oxley on the same day between 8.55am and 9.25am and Chemist Warehouse at Oxley from 9.10am to 9.30am.

McDonalds Jindalee has also been listed as a close contact exposure site for July 25, between 6.20pm and 6.55pm.

The route 66 bus from the UQ lakes bus station to the PA Hospital bus station on July 28, between 12.40pm and 1.05pm has been added to the list.

So too has the route 29 bus from the PA Hospital bus station to UQ lakes bus station on the same day, from 2.30pm to 2.55pm.

Coles Jindalee is another addition to the close contact list for between 2.55pm and 3.15pm on July 29, as well as the Terry White Chemmart Jindalee for between 3pm and 3.20pm – also on July 29.

Another bus route on the exposure site list is the 412 from Sir Fred Schonell Drive, St Lucia to UQ Chancellor’s Place at the University of Queensland for July 30, between 9.45am and 10.05am and again at 12.25pm to 12.55pm from UQ Chancellor’s Place to Sir Fred Schonell Drive, St Lucia.

Southbank TAFE F Block Room 5015 at 66 Ernest St in South Brisbane has also been added to the exposure list site for Wednesday July 28 between 7pm and 9pm.

Highgroves Bathrooms at 899 Stanley St East in East Brisbane is also on the list for Thursday July 29 between 11am and 11.25am.

Indooroopilly State High School’s close contact exposure site on Wednesday July 28 between 8am and 4.30pm was updated to include after school activities.

It was also listed as a close contact exposure site on Thursday July 29 between 8am and 3.30pm.

Meanwhile a number of stores inside Indooroopilly Shopping Centre were highlighted as new close contact exposure sites all for Thursday July 29.

The new sites include Myer on Level 2 between 8.50am and 9.30am, Seed Heritage on Level 2 between 9.20am and 9.35am, Target on Level 2 between 9.25am and 9.50am and again between 10am and 10.15am, H and M on Level 2 between 9.45am and 10.10am, Kmart on Level 2 between 10.10am and 10.45am, Stacks Discount Store on Level 1 between 10.35am and 10.50am and Country Road between 10.45am and 11am.

Meanwhile two toilets in Indooroopilly Shopping Centre on Thursday July 29 were also added as casual contacts.

They included a female toilet on Level 2 near Forever New and Myer between 8.45am and 8.50am and the female toilet near Rebel Sport and JB Hifi on Level 1 between 10.50am and 10.55am.

Ipswich CBD Community Vaccination Clinic was also placed on the close contact list for Thursday July 29 between 8am and 10.20am.

Meanwhile, Nicholas Street Mall in Ipswich was added to the casual contacts list for the same day between 8am and 10.30am.

Two new casual contact exposure sites have also now been added for Mount Gravatt.

Both are for Bunnings, Mount Gravatt with one on Wednesday July 28 between 7am and 7.35am and the other on Thursday July 29 between 12.30pm and 1.05pm.

The Translational Research Institute, Ground Floor at Princess Alexandra Hospital in Woolloongabba is also a casual contact exposure site for Wednesday July 28 between 12.50pm and 2.45pm.

Anyone who has been to any of the above sites has been urged to immediately travel by private transport to their home or accommodation, and to get tested at the earliest opportunity.

They must also remain in quarantine – even after receiving a negative result – for 14 days from when they were last at the venue.
