‘Keeping them safe’: OnlyFans star shares heartbreaking moment she was doxxed

A popular OnlyFans star has revealed the sickening moment she discovered a thread online – about a very private part of her personal life.

How OnlyFans Changed the Business of Being Naked Online

The only reason we know that OnlyFans creator and influencer Kayla Jade has children is because she was forced to share it with the public after essentially being doxxed.

Ms Jade has over 600,000 Instagram followers and millions of likes on TikTok. She’s a sex worker who has crossed over into the mainstream and become a celebrity.

Like most influencers, the 30-year-old creates content about her daily life and her followers, and even her haters, feel like they know her, but she’d never posted about her children.

It was a conscious decision because she wanted to protect them and separate her personal and public life.

It was a separation she’d successfully managed for years, and then anonymous posts started being shared in popular gossip groups on Facebook, with people revealing that she was a mum.

It got to the point where people were demanding answers underneath her social media content and the internet became so loud that, eventually, the content creator addressed it because she didn’t feel like she had another choice.

“It breaks my heart that people put ‘tea’ (gossip) before children’s safety,” she told news.com.au.

Ms Jade said that she understands that her life is public and that it has never been a “secret”, but she wanted to keep them protected for their privacy and safety.

“Yes, the rumours are true. I am a mum to two beautiful kids I’m really proud of. This isn’t about me; it is about keeping them safe,” she said.

“I’m in a high-risk industry with a large public platform.”

Ms Jade said it “freaked” her out when she saw what people were saying online people online because it felt so invasive.

The 30-year-old also argued that children aren’t able to “consent” to being put online, and she’ll continue not to share content about her children.

Speaking on her podcast, Ms Jade said that it was really tough that the fact she’s a mum turned into gossip online.

It is also hard to endure the speculation of people claiming the fact she didn’t share her children online must be some kind of sign that she doesn’t have custody or she’s a bad mum.

It got to the point where so much misinformation was being spread and people were saying the “wildest” things that she felt she had to address it.

“I decided to share my side of the story and why I keep them private,” she said.

Ms Jade said as a sex worker, it is pretty much an industry norm, not to share too much about your personal life because it ricks people invading your privacy.

The fact she has a large social media following also made her more conscious about keeping her private life offline.

“I do have a pretty large following. So it just stressed it even more to keep that side of my life private,” she explained.

What tipped her over the edge was seeing a thread online about people discussing her children and people asking for personal details on them.

She felt like she needed to speak about it and clearly define a boundary for fans and followers and end the speculation.

“They were literally sharing information that was just absolutely ridiculous. People were asking for photos of my children and asking what they looked like and their ages,” she said.

“It really saddened me to see that.

“It disgusted me, gave me such an icky feeling that people were discussing children online like this.”

Ms Jade said she was then “gobsmacked” to see online that people were claiming she doesn’t have a relationship with her children.

“Then also I had Facebook, like mums groups and gossip groups, literally sharing private information about my kids and myself pretty much doxxing me,” she explained.

The 30-year-old said it shocked her that other mums would share such personal details about her children.

“It really, it really broke my heart to see that. Like, my children’s lives aren’t your tea,” she said.

The young mum said that, even though sharing her children online has never been on the table, she also didn’t open up about being a mum because she’s always been terrified of the judgement.

“I’m a very anxious person. So I struggled day to day with the judgment, whether it’s like the fear of, you know, being at school and someone recognising me or just being out in public with the kids and someone recognising me,” she said.

“I live in a constant state of anxiety from it. I had someone literally take a photo of me and my kids in public, which is so f**ked up.”

Ms Jade explained that the reason she even got into sex work was because she wanted to provide for her children.

She said when she fell pregnant, she and her partner had “no money”, and she’d finally moved to Australia and was broke, while the father of the child was still studying at university.

“I never thought I’d be able to like provide a comfortable lifestyle for my family. And when I started sex work and seeing the money that it could make. I was like, ‘wow, I can actually, I could create such a beautiful lifestyle for my family’,” she said.

She joined the industry because she wanted her family to have a “comfortable” life and be in a position where she could set up her children for the future.

She’s managed to do that, but she also never imagined the cost of her work would be her children’s privacy.
