Other factors, of course, triggered the failure of the company, which was owned by Brendan and Andrea Saggers and traded in Burpengary for 17 years.

Liquidators with Worrells insolvency firm found that increased competition and a demand from Well Fargo financiers for the immediate repayment of $3.1 million contributed to the demise of BJ Saggers Investments Pty Ltd in March.

When talks with the lender came to nothing, Wells Fargo seized 56 caravans off the lot and is still trying to offload them.

Worrells also found the company may have been trading while insolvent since last November. The Saggers could not be reached for comment yesterday.
