Sunshine Coast-based Elite Trade Supplies QLD has gone into liquidation

A Queensland tile and bathroom products supply business, which has been operating for more than 20 years, has gone into liquidation.

A Sunshine Coast tile and bathroom products supply business, which has been operating since 1998, has gone into liquidation.

Elite Trade Supplies (QLD) Pty Ltd had an showroom at Warana and according to its website opened an new outlet in Townsville.

The company will be wound up and Jon McLeod and Bill Karageozis of McLeod & Partners have been appointed liquidators.

Mr Karageozis said it was “early days”.

“At this stage we don’t know how much they owe. It’s far too early and it could take weeks to find out,” he said.

“At the moment we are inspecting their asset, trying to ascertain creditors and writing to creditors and going through the process.”

According to a company search the current director and secretary of the company is Teigan Elizabeth Swinton who with Cherie Marie Hopkins holds all the shares in the business.

A phone call to the Elite Trade Supplies Warana office was not answered.

According to the Elite’s website their aim was to “be the cheapest and best tile supplier on the Sunshine Coast and satisfy our customers by providing the best products at the best possible prices”.
