Top 20 under 40: home flipping Gray brothers attract millions

They are two of the hottest property flippers in Brisbane and in just 12 months they have created a highly sought after construction company that is making millions.

They are the go-to builders among Brisbane’s A-list. In just 12 months, the young brothers behind the burgeoning brand that is Graya TM have earned a reputation for being the best in the business when it comes to turning inner-city hovels into hot property.

Football players, models and rappers are among their high-profile clients, but Rob Gray, 30, and his sibling Andrew, 33, remain as down-to-earth as ever.

The expert home flippers burst on to the start-up scene five years ago with just $50,000 in capital, and have since traded more than $60 million worth of property and completed some 60 projects.

Combining their carpentry and quantity surveying skills, the boys have gained recognition for rebuilding some of the worst homes in Brisbane’s best streets and selling them for a tidy profit.

Graya Construction’s unique take on the traditional Queenslander are dotted all over the fashionable suburb of Paddington and are quickly spreading across Brisbane.

“We are trying to push the boundaries with luxury living throughout the fringe-city suburbs,” Rob said.

And they are already committed for the rest of 2019/20, with upcoming projects including their first multi-residential development, Maison, in New Farm.

The brothers believe much of their success lies in having a strong online presence.

They recently launched a YouTube channel called Graya TV.

Their goal is to be the only company operating full circle across construction, development real estate and marketing.
