Bot hello
Founders: Sean Melis & Jay Farrell
What we do: Bot Hello is a conversation design agency and chatbot development platform. We use conversational applications like Facebook Messenger to personalise customer interactions and work with brands to automate their customer service and sales; these include Youfoodz, the Brisbane Lions, Goodlife Health Club, Maybelline New York, and Splendour in the Grass
Biggest milestone: Landing Maybelline New York as a client. With barely any agency experience, time in the market, or financial resources, we convinced one of the largest cosmetics brands in the world to take a risk both on us as a company and a technology that has yet to be fully proven within their industry. The conversational product activation we built for Maybelline was the first-ever for the L’Oreal Group in Australia and (luckily) turned out to be a massive success.

Medmin
Founder: Dr David Quigley
What we do: Hospital funding depends on detailed information about patient care. My company, Medmin, works with hospitals to ensure that the information gathered is robust, yielding maximum funding for the hospital, and improving patient care.
Biggest milestone: We have reviewed in excess of 40,000 clinical records, resulting in over $32 million in increased revenue to hospitals in the private sector alone – this equates to a 600 per cent return on investment. Medmin’s software empowers hospitals to optimise information and funding, ultimately improving patient care.
