The big movers and shakers in property descended on the Brisbane Convention and Exhibition Centre on Friday for the sector’s annual Christmas bash.
The well-lubricated lunch returned to Southbank after a couple of years at the Royal International Convention Centre at the Ekka Grounds with a record 1700 people in attendance.
Property Council Queensland chief executive Jen Williams says it has been a challenging year for the industry, tackling the uncertainty of rising construction costs, interest rates and insolvencies, all while trying to solve a housing crisis.
Lightening the mood at the event was comedian Dilruk, most recently known for his guest appearances on The Project and Have You Been Paying Attention? The Official After Party in the outdoor plaza kicked off in the afternoon.
