A rapidly expanding coworking giant has secured its fourth Brisbane location in one of the city’s premier office towers, and it looks like it’s settling in for the long haul.

A LEADING global coworking group has secured four floors in Brisbane’s first premium office tower.
WeWork has signed an 11-year lease of premium office space at the GPT Wholesale Office Fund owned Riverside Centre at 123 Eagle St in the Golden Triangle.

Under the lease which starts in May, WeWork will occupy 4478sq m from Levels 5 to 8
in the tower of Riverside Centre.
Lachlan Buchanan, Head of Real Estate at WeWork Australia & New Zealand said
WeWork was continuing to build its presence across the country.
“It’s incredibly important for our members that their workplace is conveniently located in an active precinct that supports their lifestyle,” he said.
“Our new location at the iconic Riverside Centre will offer excellent amenity for organisations
of all scales, both individuals and large enterprise companies, to thrive.”
Built in 1986, the Riverside Centre has 41 levels of premium grade office space, waterfront restaurants and open-plaza retail and accommodation in the heart of the Golden Triangle. It has a 5-star NABERS Energy rating.
It is WeWork’s fourth Brisbane location after 310 Edward St, 260 Queen St and 25 King St in Bowen Hills
GWOF fund manager Martin Ritchie said the fund was delighted to sign WeWork as a
major tenant for one of Brisbane’s pre-eminent office buildings.
“WeWork has been the global leader in the revolution in the way workplaces are being used and has helped open high-grade office space in CBD locations to a broad variety of new occupants,” he said.
“We welcome the diverse community of professionals WeWork will bring to Riverside Centre, which will make one of Brisbane’s most sought-after office addresses an even more vibrant place to work.”
