At 0630 AEST on Tuesday, the local currency was trading at 93.77 US cents, down from 93.92 cents on Monday.
It’s a big week for the Australian dollar with a speech by RBA governor Glenn Stevens on Tuesday and consumer price index figures being released by the Australian Bureau of Statistics on Wednesday.
