A brand new hotel in Brisbane’s Fortitude Valley is set to open its doors in a matter of weeks and promises a certain amount of X Factor befitting its iconic location.
Originally set to launch as Hotel Indigo Brisbane InterContinental Hotels Group has renamed its new 458 Brunswick Street hotel ‘Hotel X’.
The Courier-Mail has been given an exclusive first look at Brisbane’s newest five-star hotel, dining and lifestyle destination, primed to open to the public later this month.
The hotel will provide a ground-floor restaurant and bar, expansive gymnasium, rooftop poolside restaurant, and bar with panoramic city views, room service, concierge valet, and an event function space.
The location will also soon be home to two new dining destinations from the award-winning Ghanem Group that are set to “seduce” Brisbane’s dining scene.
Talking about the venue’s transformation, Hotel X general manager Mauro Leone said the hotel’s evolution in development warranted a distinctive moniker and feel that would provide an experience “like no other”.
“The hotel pays homage to the iconic location through original artwork and a mischievous personality but takes this to the next level with an elevated, globally inspired food and beverage experience and cutting-edge design,” Mr Leone said.
“Just minutes from the bars of Howard Smith Wharves, the boutiques of James St, and the best experiences in Brisbane, Hotel X literally marks the spot.
“Our team are looking forward to adding more vibrancy to the Valley’s electrifying cultural and lifestyle offering with an experience that is unexpected, uninhibited, and undeniably indulgent.”
