An aspiring Logan model has smashed global sales records for lingerie retailer Honey Birdette after she spent $14,000 during a shopping spree.
Samantha, who didn’t want to use her last name, has been a long time customer of the brand and is no stranger to spending up big.

“I probably have about $30,000 worth of Honey Birdette,” the Browns Plains resident said.
But this shopping trip was extravagant even by Samantha’s standards after she went to the Carindale store on Thursday night for an impromptu VIP appointment, where staff close the doors to the public.
“I was just going to get $1000 worth and then I thought ‘nup, let’s go all out’.,” she said.
The 21-year-old shopped with a friend and left with a full trolley bulging with lingerie and accessories.
“I would actually like a new car, but lingerie’s better. It’s just something I enjoy. I feel empowered when I wear it and it’s all about me.”
Before Samantha’s trip to Carindale, Honey Birdette’s highest single sale at any of their stores globally rung the register at $11,000.
Honey Birdette sales assistant Gabrielle Kruger helped Samantha select her haul.
“Sam bought 123 items during her appointment. She pretty much bought one of everything and two of some things,” Ms Kruger said. “I’ve had $4000 sales before, but nothing like this.”
Samantha left the store after 10pm wearing some of her newly-acquired purchases.
“We managed to fit everything in a trolley and then she left in one of her outfits,” Ms Kruger said.
“It was late so there was no-one in the centre. She left in a full get-up with a long lacy robe over the top.”
