EMBATTLED businessman Clive Palmer’s prized private jet will go up for sale next month after creditors voted to liquidate one of his businesses.
Palmer Aviation was put into liquidation this afternoon following a creditors meeting.
It means the company’s sole asset, Mr Palmer’s Bombardier Global Express, will be put up for sale in March.
The plane bears the Palmer United Party name as well as its logo and was used by Mr Palmer extensively during his campaign.
Palmer Aviation went into administration shortly after Queensland Nickel did in January.
Its administrators FTI Consulting have been appointed as liquidators.
Mr Palmer’s nephew Clive Mensink is the sole director of the company.
