THE demand for Boxing Day deals has proved too much for Myer's website, which has been repeatedly crashing for customers who have left their complaints on social media.
The myer.com.au site has been down since last night according to users, who have been posting about their experiences on Twitter and Facebook.

When News Corp Australia logged on at 9.30am today, this is what the Myer website looked like this:
Customer complaints range from being unable to log on at all, to being unable to make final purchases and the website's server crashing in general.
On Twitter, keen shoppers tweeted their angst, some even saying they would be prepared to stop trying and shop elsewhere.

On Myer's Facebook page, customers pleaded for the department store to fix the site.
Jean B Bean posted: "very frustrating MYER trying to order something online when your website keeps crashing. Come on guys, it's Boxing Day, lots of people want to use your website, please get it fixed!"
Lai Leow posted: "Hi. Website is still down since last night....."
Linda Leigh said: "Just tried for an hour and a half to buy a handbag online. Then your site finally crashed completely as I was checking out."
At 9.52am today, Myer posted on Facebook:
"Morning everyone - we're currently experiencing some technical difficulties with our website, and our team are working hard to get this fixed as soon as possible.
"We're very sorry for the inconvenience, and hope to have you shopping again soon!"
