A 16-year-old girl has been rushed to hospital after allegedly being shot at a Toowoomba hotel, west of Brisbane.
A Queensland Police spokeswoman told NCA NewsWire officers had launched an investigation after emergency crews were called to a hotel on Annand St, Toowoomba, about 2.40pm on Tuesday.
The 16-year-old girl was taken to hospital in a serious condition.
Police said a number of people were present at the time of the alleged incident and are assisting police with their inquiries.
A crime scene has been declared and investigations are ongoing.
The Toowoomba Chronicle reported the girl was being treated for a “significant” arm injury.
