Police launch investigation after sudden death of 19-year-old Krystle Monks
Homicide police have launched an investigation after the death of a “beautiful” 19-year-old woman in Queensland.

Friends are remembering a “beautiful” 19-year-old woman who died after she collapsed inside a Queensland home.
Krystle Monks was found unresponsive when emergency services arrived at a Bundamba home, in Ipswich, about 9.30pm on Saturday.
Nine News reported on Monday that the woman allegedly fell off a bed, suffering critical head injuries.
She was taken to the Princess Alexandra Hospital.
Ms Monks died on Monday night in hospital just two weeks shy of her 20th birthday.
Officers from the Yamanto Police Station have since launched an investigation into her death, with detectives from the homicide squad assisting with inquiries.
No charges have been laid at this stage.
Grieving friends have paid tribute to Ms Monks on social media, stating she’ll be “forever 19”.
Akierra Denton wrote she was “devastated” after hearing her friend had died.
“You were taken way to soon away from everyone,” Ms Denton wrote.
“You will always be missed by everyone that you came into contact with.
“You touched so many people in so many ways and we are all devastated that you’ve gone.
“You will be missed gorgeous girl.”
Another family friend, Nathaniel Kean, said Ms Monks was a “very fun outgoing person that was always able to make anyone around her smile”.
“We are all very hurt and hurting,” Mr Kean wrote.
“My support goes out to he family and friends of hers.”
