The bizarre moment cars were damaged in Melbourne has been revealed as police search for the person responsible for the vandalism.
Locals in east Melbourne told police 43 cars had been damaged, dented or had mirrors smashed last December.
All the cars had been parked in Powlett Street, Albert Street, Simpson Street and Grey Street.
Police believe a man kicked and damaged the cars between 3.30am and 4am.
The man they want to talk to is caucasian, with long dark hair, aged between 30 and 35 and 180cm tall.
He was wearing a beanie, an oversized khaki jumper, dark faded pants and black shoes at the time.
Leading Senior Constable Melissa Seach has urged anyone with information to contact police.
