Man extradited from NT to NSW over domestic violence charges

A man has been extradited from the Northern Territory over an alleged death threat and the alleged intimidation and assault of two women.

A man has been extradited from the Northern Territory to New South Wales and charged with a raft of domestic violence offences, including threatening to kill a woman.

Police allege Timmothy Wode assaulted and intimidated two women, aged 37 and 63, who are known to him on multiple occasions between March and April.

NT Police officers arrested the 39-year-old in Alice Springs on Wednesday over the domestic violence allegations.

He was transported to NSW by detectives and touched down at Sydney Airport on Friday.

Mr Wode was taken to Mascot Police Station and charged with 12 offences, including four counts of stalk/intimidate intend fear physical harm and threaten to record intimate image without consent.

He was also charged with committing an act of cruelty upon an animal, using carriage service to threaten to kill, and a slew of assault charges.

He was refused bail to appear in Parramatta Local Court on Saturday.

NSW Police have acknowledged the assistance of their NT counterparts in the matter.
