A 13-year-old boy who went missing for two nights in freezing temperatures in Victoria has been found safe and well.
After a desperate two-day search, the boy, who has a medical condition, was found on Wednesday morning at a quarry on Spring Plains Rd in the Melbourne suburb of Wyndham Vale.
He has been taken to hospital for observation.
Police believe Lex was walking in Wyndham Vale, near Kakadu Dr, at about 12.40pm on Monday before he went missing.
“Police and family are concerned for Lex’s welfare due to his age and a medical condition,” police said in a statement on Tuesday.
Local police, SES and air wing and the mounted branch were all involved in the search, which took place at parkland near the Werribee River on Hobbs Rd.
