CCTV footage has captured the dramatic moment a car rams into a shopping centre in Brisbane’s north and thieves steal an ATM cash box.
The suspects smashed a sedan into the popular Stafford shopping centre around 3.30am on Sunday.
Police say two cars were involved – with one blasting through a main entry and shattering glass doors.
Authorities said “significant damage” was caused during the theft.
The burglars were wearing ski masks and black clothing as they ripped out a cash box from the ATM.
The car was later dumped and set alight by the robbers at the back of the complex.
The suspects fled the scene at speed in a stolen Jeep Grand Cherokee.
Police urge anyone with information or dashcam footage to come forward or contact Crime Stoppers.
