Groundskeeper Willie is clearing the crowd from the Leichhardt Oval hill so it's time to wind it up here. Thanks for joining the blog. Check out all the news from the sheds from Brad Walter and Michael Chammas in tomorrow's Sydney Morning Herald and online at LeagueHQ
Fulltime: Wests Tigers 24 Warriors 22. Tigers get the chocolates after looking well out of it at half-time
80 min: Warriors try. Lucky for the Tigers Marshall converted. Warriors go the short kick-off down the left, regain the ball and then Hurrell receives it and a barnstorming run down the right sees him score. Maloney converts. Tigers 24-22.
78 min: Tigers try. From the scrum Marshall passes to Moltzen, who throws two dummies to inside runners and the Warriors hang off and he cuts through to score. Marshall converts. Tigers 24-16.
77 min: Vatuvei spills a bomb and then Ayshford does brilliantly to pick up the ball on the half volley but spills it over the line. Scrum to Tigers 5m out.
75 min: Tigers are hanging on tough here, the Warriors are going to gamble and throw it around in the final five minutes.
73 min: Utai, not known for his aerial skills, does really well to get off the ground and claim a Maloney bomb under heavy pressure.
71 min: Warriors run it on the last before a lovely weighted grubber from Hurrell has to be cleaned up by Moltzen. Marshall booms out a 60m drop-out from under the posts.
69 min: Warriors try some expanisve play and make good ground but a wide, wide pass from Johnson hits the ground in front of Hurrell and he knocks on.
63 min: Tigers try. Matt Utai, wearing a pair of bright orange boots for the hard of hearing, celebrates his 150th game by crawling under Vatuvei to score in the corner. Marshall drains it from the sideline. Tigers 18-16.
62 min: Warriors defence holds, put they'll drop out again after another grubber into the deadbal area.
59 min: Solid set from the Tigers and Marshall grubbers into the in-goal and the Fish has to clean it up. Tigers to get the ball back from a line drop-out.
54 min: Warriors try. Tigers go the kick again but it backfires this time. Moltzen gets too close to Maloney who sticks out a foot and stops it, picks it up and makes a 20m burst before giving it to Hurrell who gets the ball 50m out and then outpaces Marshall to score. Maloney converts. Warriors 16-12.
53 min: Tigers go the grubber again, it's cleaned up over the dead ball. Warriors drop-out.
50 min: Another penalty to the Tigers - they'll be in good field position again.
48 min: Tigers try. Tigers get piggyback penalties and then a lovely planned moved. Marshall kicks out wide behind the defence for Tuqiri and he flies down the touchline and does well to control the ball for the try. Marshall sneaks it in from the sideline. Tigers 12-10.
45 min: Tigers try. Manu's Venus de Milo hands let him down again. Last tackle and Beau Knows it, he puts in a grubber, Vatuvei can't pick it up, Ryan toes it ahead and then he wins the race to the ball to touch down. Marshall converts. Warriors 10-6.
42 min: Some nice interplay down the left between Johnson, Henry, and Manu ends 5m out when Ayshford takes Henry into touch.
40 m: We're off again. Utai comes on for his 150th game to replace Lawrence.
Chris Lawrence looks like he's got an iceberg strapped to his left hammy - that looks like his night is finished.
Brad Walter's take on the first 40: "Too big, too fast and too strong - the Warriors appeared to have Wests Tigers covered in every area in the first half. Without Robbie Farah, the Tigers are all too predictable as only Benji Marshall seems likely to spark anything whereas the Warriors have strike across the field. This could get ugly in the second half unless the Tigers defence continues to hold."
Twitter outlaw Polson chimes in from the hill: "Warriors were like Cinderella. Made the most of the ball." One your best Jesper.
Halftime: Warriors 10-0. Time for an orange, or some haggis.
40 min: Warriors get the last chance of the half, Johnson dances across field, looks like he's trying to get a gig as one of the new Wiggles, but he can't find a hole in the defence and grubbers through, bu it's easily cleaned up.
35 min: Lawrence loses the handle in a tackle. Warriors get a scrum 40m out.
32 min: Moltzen takes a Johnson kick into the in-goal, then beats the defence and makes a 40m break up field, onto Marshall and he flicks it back to Moltzen but the Warriors defence scrambles well. But Galloway gets in the way in the backline on the next play and the Tigers miss a great chance.
29 min: Beau doesn't know much about a Johnson bomb and spills it, but luckily can clean it up. Tigers get a penalty and go on the attack then OUCH! The Beast puts a nice shoulder charge on Moltzen and forces a knock on.
26 min: Glen 'The Fish' Fisiiahi does well to take a towering Marshall bomb. Warriors put together a solid set before Maloney finds touch 20m out from the Tigers lines. Love to see the Fish get some open space - he's scored 18 tries in 8 NSW Cup matches for the Vulcans this season.
22 min: Warriors try. From the next set a Wariors bomb goes up, Beau Knows where the ball is but can't catch it, it hits the deck and Henry pounces on the scraps. Maloney converts. Warriors 10-0.
19 min: Mateo flicks a pass out the back, but support can't take it and it's knocked on over the line. Tigers get a good attack going, Marshall makes a 20m break but Reddy can't read his blind flick pass out the back and the raid ends.
18 min: Five minutes of flat spots here. Humble throws a forward pass from dummy half. Warriors will get the ball 40m out from a scrum. The Warriors get a cheap penalty when Blair penalised for stripping the ball - debatable.
13 min: Tigers set ends when Humble tries to do a sneaky Farah and attempts to dart over from dummy-half from one metre, but he's caught short. Turnover.
12 min: Good set from Tigers ends with Vatuvei having to clean-up a Marshall grubber. Drop-out from Warriors.
9 min: Tigers get ball back after another drop by Warriors, Marshall gets behind the Warriors defence 10m out, but Mateo knocks the ball out of Benji's hands. Scrum to the Warriors.
6 min: Beau knows that hurt, slow to get up after Tigers get ball back from Warriors mistake. Back on attack 10m out, but Galloway spills the pill.
4 min: Warriors try. Johnson and Packer do a nice little dummy runaround, Maloney throws a lovely cut-out pass to Hurrell who puts Tupou in the corner. Herald photographer Anthony Johnson gets cleaned up by Tuqiri trying to make the tackle! Workers comp claim coming up. Maloney misses conversion. 4-0 Warriors.
3 min: Warriors get an early penalty for a strip, will go on the attack 30m out from Tigers line.
1 min: And we're away with the kick-off from Moltzen.
The Herald Twitter outlaw and fellow league blogger James Polson is on the hill tonight, he reports the BBQ sausage businessmen were doing a roaring trade outside the ground before the match (no-one was touching Willie's haggis).
Both teams are, as they say in the classics, 1-17.
Here's Groundskeeper Willie with his report on the surface at Leichhardt Oval: "It'll be a wee bit slippery with wee bit of dew on the ground, and if you're hungry get your haggis right here! Chopped heart and lungs boiled in a wee sheep's stomach! Tastes as good as it sounds."
Both are hovering mid-table with the Kiwi team in eighth (5-5) and the Wests Tigers ninth (4-5).
After their poor start to the season the Tigers have put together a three-match winning streak and are coming off the bye, while the Warriors have won their past two.
The Wests Tigers will be without Robbie Farah, who is on Origin duty down in Bleak City.
Tonight’s pre-match entertainment is some classic power pop going out to Wests Tigers Tom Humble who finds himself in the unusual role of hooker due to Farah’s absence.
It’s The Black and Orange Humble Band with It Doesn’t Matter.
