Another win for Nikita Tszyu and this one brings with it a national title.
There is still so much more for Tszyu to work on. Like not getting hit.
“There’s always things to improve on, defence is the number one that I gotta get going,” he said.
We now know that Tszyu can cop a punch as well as give one. And he is one of the most exciting fighters to watch because of that recklessness that almost proved costly.
“The Butcher” got the job done in his second pay-per-view fight, ensuring he and big brother Tim keep their undefeated record intact.
“He was a hurdle, he was a massive roadblock in my brain,” Tszyu said.
“As soon as I started boxing, he was just standing there, like a wall that I had to climb over. It feels good to be able to jump over that and start the next chapter of my boxing career.”
Dylan Biggs, so anonymous that he needed a third party to get him past the stadium security, won plenty of new admirers. It appeared that he suffered a broken wrist by the end of the fight and would have kept on swinging had the referee not mercifully brought a close to proceedings.
When asked about who Tszyu could face next, Tim cheekily said: “Give him Tony Harrison. Why not?”
Tim Tszyu defeated Harrison earlier this year. While it’s unlikely little brother will get a crack at the American veteran, the Tszyus are now poised to risk their undefeated records in Vegas in March.
That’s all from us, catch you next time!
