WINNERS:
- Schools: $200 million school maintenance fund to fix maintenance backlog of public schools
- Carers: $15 million, three-year trial to assist elderly parent carers of people with a disability in transition to new care arrangements
- Tourism: An additional $20 million funding
- Agriculture: $4.8 million for research to develop Queensland as a grower of tropical pulses
- First homebuyers: $15,000 grant for people buying their first home either off the plan or newly constructed

LOSERS:
- Public servants: the equivalent of 14,000 full-time job losses
- Miners: Coal royalties to increase 12.5 per cent on the value per tonne between $100 and $150 and to 15 per cent thereafter, expected to raise $1.6 billion over the next four years
- Property buyers: The threshold for the highest rate of transfer duty will increase from $980,000 to $1 million, and the rate will increase to 5.75 per cent
- Casinos and clubs: Tax hikes to raise $8 million per year
