And it's done. Over. And what have we achieved?
Theme of the day - domestic violence. And pokie machines.
MVP - Malcolm Turnbull.
The Opposition will speak on its motion to thank those involved in the domestic violence taskforce. Which everyone will agree on, because how can you not?
There are also about 12 bills to be worked through this week - time gets away from you, when you haven't sat in about a month - so the parliament will knuckle down yelling and ignoring each other in equal measure for that.Labor will also look at its motion to explore four-year terms and the Attorney-General will also look at a review into introducing a Human Rights Bill for Queensland.
So slowly, all of the commitments to Peter Wellington are being ticked off.
We haven't heard any more on the inquiry into political donations and awarded contracts, tenders and approvals, but that should come up at some point, given the terms of reference are due soon.
Thank you to the amazing Danielle Cronin for making the internet work for good and not evil and to you, as always, for keeping us company.
We'll be back around 3pm on Wednesday for the second sitting. We can't wait.
