Virginia Giuffre charged with breaching violence restraining order

By Rachael Clifford

Virginia Giuffre, one of Jeffrey Epstein’s victims who lives in WA, is facing another court battle, this time charged with breaching a violence restraining order in Ocean Reef in February.

9 News Perth revealed Giuffre, who also accused Prince Andrew, the Duke of York, of sexually assaulting her as a teenager, faced Joondalup Magistrates Court on March 14 and is due back before the courts next week over the charge.

The news comes after her family came forward following a social media post she wrote claiming, she was suffering kidney failure and had just days to live.

9 News Perth has reported that her family has now claimed publishing the post publicly was a mistake, and that the details were meant to be shared privately.

Giuffre posted on Instagram on Sunday saying she was dying from kidney renal failure after being hit by a school bus travelling at 110 kilometres per hour.

Police have since said the crash in Neergabby was minor, and that no one was transported to hospital.

In a statement, her family said police were called but no one was available to come to the scene of the crash.

“They asked if anyone was injured and suggested that if they were, they should make their way to hospital,” the statement read.

“Virginia was banged up and bruised and returned home. Virginia’s condition worsened, and she was admitted to the hospital.”

The 41-year-old remains at Sir Charles Gardiner Hospital as of Wednesday night, and her condition was listed as stable.

This masthead understands she is not currently being treated for kidney failure.

WA Police Commander Mike Bell said there were no injuries reported and no calls made that they could find.

“We did not attend that crash which does not surprise me because it was reported the following day by the bus driver,” he said.
