Homicide detectives have charged a 19-year-old man with murder as a result of their investigation into the death of an 18-year-old man in Rivervale on Saturday night.
The man was allegedly found seriously injured from a stab wound at a Gladstone Road property in the eastern suburb about 5.10pm.
St John Ambulance rushed him to Royal Perth Hospital, where he died.
Police said at the weekend that the two were known to each other.
The accused, from Swan View, is due to appear before Perth Magistrates Court on Monday.
