Worker seriously injured after falling 20 metres at north Queensland mine
A worker has been rushed to hospital in a serious condition after falling up to 20 metres at a north Queensland mine on Sunday.
The man suffered back and pelvic injuries after the fall at Collinsville Mine, close to 90 kilometres south-west of Bowen, about 8am.
The patient, who paramedics believed was aged in his 50s, was taken to Collinsville Hospital.
