Roads have reopened in Toowong after motorists were earlier advised to avoid the area during an ongoing police incident.
A police spokesperson said the matter was resolved about 5.30pm on Friday.
Traffic and bus service disruptions were expected from the incident, with police on the scene at High Street for much of Friday afternoon.
There was no threat to the public.
The incident also caused disruptions to the bus network with the High Street stop, near the Toowong Village shopping centre, unavailable to commuters.
