Man run over, pinned under car in Sunshine Coast driveway

A man believed to be in his 90s has been run over and pinned underneath a car in a Sunshine Coast driveway, according to emergency services.

Specialist paramedics raced to the home on Point Cartwright Drive in Buddina just after midday on Monday.

The man suffered hip and shoulder injuries.

He was treated by a critical care paramedic at the scene after being pinned under a vehicle, according to an ambulance service spokeswoman.

He was taken to Sunshine Coast University Hospital in a stable condition.

Police said the man had been "accidentally run over" and his wife rode with him in the ambulance.

The Forensic Crash Unit was investigating.
