Police are trying to piece together the final moments of a Sydney man’s life whose body was found in a park pond in the city’s south last month.
Detectives are treating the death of 42-year-old Scott Bradshaw, from Brighton Le Sands, as suspicious.
Officers were notified about Mr Bradshaw’s disappearance on April 30 after he failed to attend pre-arranged appointments.
Police searched Rockdale Bicentennial Park on May 3, finding Mr Bradshaw’s vehicle in a nearby car park and his body partially submerged in a large pond surrounded by bushland.
Investigators have since established his vehicle was parked in the car park about 9.30pm on the night of Saturday, April 24.
A post-mortem has been conducted with the remains formally identified as Mr Bradshaw.
On Saturday, police divers searched the pond and recovered clothing they suspect belonged to Mr Bradshaw.
Strike Force Garamond has been set up to investigate his death. The strike force has released CCTV of people in the park on April 24, the day Mr Bradshaw was last seen.
Police do not believe they were involved in his death but want to speak to them, or anyone else who may have spoken to Mr Bradshaw during that time, as part of the investigation.
