CANBERRA COMEDY FESTIVAL
The Canberra Comedy Festival returns for its biggest year yet. Laughs will be served up across multiple venues including the Canberra Theatre Centre, Street Theatre, Civic Pub, ANU School of Music and more. Highlights will include Guy Montgomery - a Kiwi king with a podcast that will change your damn life - and the always stellar Zoë Coombs Marr in Bossy Bottom. Multiple venues. Friday-Sunday. PITCH YOUR PASSION
Women with Disabilities ACT is hosting its inaugural variety show for young people with disabilities: Pitch Your Passion. It will be a night of Canberrans voicing their loves, struggles and experiences in an open mic type of format. There will also be a hearing loop, Auslan interpreting and wheelchair accessibility. RELAY FOR LIFE
Join the thousands of Australians taking part in the Cancer Council’s Relay For Life to help raise funds for cancer research, prevention and support. It's also a day to celebrate your local cancer survivors and carers, and remember those who've been lost to the disease. AIS Athletic Track, Bruce. Saturday-Sunday. GERMAN MARKETS
Head down to the Harmonie Club for the German Markets, a day of deli delights, breads, cakes and crafts (plus wine, beer and schnapps). Harmonie German Club, Narrabundah. Sunday 9am-1pm. Free entry.
HANDMADE MARKET
This quarterly market, which is brimming with 270 Australian creative businesses, returns with fashion, furniture, ceramics, toys, jewellery and more. Avoid the malls and prepare to be a gift-gathering extraordinaire ahead of Easter and Mother's Day. Exhibition Park, Mitchell. Saturday-Sunday, 10am-4pm. Free parking and entry.
