Prime Minister Kevin Rudd has been booed while watching the NRL clash between the Raiders and the Broncos in Canberra.
Mr Rudd - who was taking a night off ahead of his debate on health reform with Opposition Leader Tony Abbott on Tuesday - was resting easy at Canberra Stadium on Monday night.
But fans weren't pleased at his halftime appearance.
When he appeared on the big screen alongside wife Therese Rein, the crowd burst into low boos.
Mr Rudd seemed to have a chuckle at the less-than-enthusiastic reception.
The Raiders were up 18-0 at half time, on track for their first win of the season.
