The Queensland Government has selected the Destination Brisbane Consortium to create an integrated resort on the banks of the Brisbane River.
Here is the plan by precinct:
Treasury Building
- Retail on the lower two floors
- Ritz-Carlton Hotel on the upper two floors
Queen's Garden

- Translucent atrium roof rises from the ground to mark the entrance to an underground mall, which connects to the new department store in the Treasury Building
Ritz Carlton
- The Ritz-Carlton brand comes to Brisbane in the refurbished heritage Lands Administration Building

Undercurrent Village
- Sound Garden performance stage area with interactive urban sculpture, water feature, seating and viewing terraces
- "Wake Bar" heritage Morgue site providing alternative access between Queen's Wharf Road and the riverfront
- Velo cafe providing end-of-ride facilities, incorporating cafe, toilet/shower facilities and bike storage
- Bicentennial bikeway upgrade from Victoria Bridge
- "Flood proof" pop-up zones
Miller Park
- A tiered landscaped park that connects William Street to Queens Wharf Road
- Elevator access is from William Street via a timber deck that is both an outdoor viewing platform and connection to the Aboriginal European Heritage Centre

The Landing
- For events such as large outdoor food, art and lighting festivals plus recreation activities
- Beach with direct river access and river ramp for kayaks and non-motorised craft
- Riverside promenade and pop-up seafood bars
- Water taxi landing
- Vantage point for River Arena
Integrated Resort
- International and local hotel brands including Rosewood and Dorset, together with Echo's VIP 6-star hotel and a Darling Hotel
- Brisbane's first six-star hotel located in the signature "Arc" building
- Elevated "Horizon Deck" providing views over Brisbane, with resort-style recreation, dining options and space for functions and events
- Moonlight Cinema offering gold class and outdoor rooftop cinemas, black-tie event space plus outdoor performances
- New casino designed by IRD architects Steelman Partners

South Bank
- A new 1500-1600 seat lyric theatre
- A new pedestrian bridge, linking the Queen's Wharf resort and South Bank is another option
