The death toll from the White Island volcano tragedy has risen to 19 after police another person died at an Auckland hospital overnight on Monday.
There were 47 people visiting the New Zealand tourist destination when the volcano erupted December 9, killing 13 people initially and leaving more than two dozen others hospitalised with severe burns.
