Trump tells Woodward he deliberately played down COVID-19 dangers

Washington | Donald Trump deliberately concealed and played down the severity of COVID-19 in the early days of the pandemic, according to an explosive new book by Bob Woodward, which includes no fewer than 18 on-the-record interviews with the US President.
"This is deadly stuff," Mr Trump told Mr Woodward on February 7, noting that "you just breathe the air and that's how it's passed".
