US President Donald Trump regularly bullied the leaders of global allies – including Australia – according to a report by Carl Bernstein, the award-winning journalist who with Bob Woodward helped bring down Richard Nixon over the Watergate scandal.
A report by Bernstein for US news network CNN claims Mr Trump was so abusive to American allies that the phone calls convinced senior US officials the President posed a national security risk.
