Trump tries campaign reset, pledges to slash energy bills
Washington | Donald Trump made a bold promise to halve household energy bills if he wins the US presidential election, as he tries to recalibrate his campaign to focus on voter issues instead of personal attacks on rival Kamala Harris.
Campaigning in the key swing state of North Carolina, Trump signalled something of a reset in his approach to the November poll, saying his advisers wanted him to “do a speech on the economy”.
