Washington | US Congress has officially moved to introduce legislation that would pave the way for America’s most secret military intelligence - nuclear propelled submarines - to be transferred to Australia.

On Friday (Saturday AEST) Democrat congressman Joe Courtney, along with Gregory Meeks and Ami Bera, introduced the AUKUS Undersea Defence Act, which provides legislative authority to allow for the transfer of Virginia-class nuclear-powered submarines to Australia.
