National Rifle Association files for bankruptcy in restructuring move

The National Rifle Association filed petitions with a US bankruptcy court seeking protection from creditors by restructuring, the gun rights advocacy group announced on Friday (Saturday AEDT).
The NRA filed the Chapter 11 petitions in US Bankruptcy Court in Dallas, it said in a news release.
