Washington | Donald Trump has suffered a blistering rebuke from a majority of House Republicans for his decision to withdraw American forces from Syria, a move that has triggered fresh fears it will bring ISIS back from the dead.

A resolution condemning the President came just before key congressional leaders from both sides of the aisle met with Mr Trump to discuss the worsening crisis in Syria.
