Harris warns of chaos under ‘petty tyrant’ Trump in ‘closing’ speech
Washington | Kamala Harris delivered her campaign’s “closing argument” from the same spot in Washington where Donald Trump fired up the mob that attacked the Capitol building after rejecting the results of the 2020 election of Joe Biden.
Standing onstage at the “Ellipse” – the grassy area in front of the White House – Ms Harris implored an estimated 75,000-strong crowd to reject “division, chaos and mutual distrust” on Tuesday (Wednesday AEDT).
