Harris plans to raise corporate tax rate to 28pc in Trump clash
Washington | US Vice President Kamala Harris is proposing to increase the corporate tax rate to 28 per cent if she wins the election, a move aimed at raising government revenues from corporate America, which is likely to spark criticism from the business community.
Ms Harris’ campaign spokesperson James Singer said on Monday (Tuesday AEST) the move would be part of “a fiscally responsible way to put money back in the pockets of working people and ensure billionaires and big corporations pay their fair share”.
